Gush Etzion is located in the Judean region, situated south of Jerusalem, at one of the highest altitudes in Israel. This area has been recognized for thousands of years for wine growing. The climate, differences in day and night temperatures, chalky soil, the sloping vineyards, and altitude of over 900 meters above sea level, create ideal conditions for wine growing.
Shraga and Tamar z”l Rosenberg’s passion for winemaking grew became a small winery in which they produced 700 bottles a year. Within a few years, plans were drawn up to create a winery at the Gush Etzion junction and partner with local Kibbutzim to plant vineyards.
