Tasting Note

Deep cherry red in color. On the nose, ripe red cherries, red currants, uncured tobacco leaves, menthol, vanilla, earthy minerals . Medium-bodied, the palate feels rich with good concentration yet fresh and juicy with layers of red currants, raspberries and boysenberries followed by hints of graphite, bittersweet pipe tobacco, green notes, dirt, with medium-plus acidity and well-focused , searing tannins along hints of dried herbs and mushrooms on a remarkably long finish.
