Ben Porat
Founded in 2003 by Ariel Ben Shitrit and his family, the winery began as a modest dream producing 5,000 to 8,000 bottles annually and selling them directly to a circle of devoted patrons.
Two decades later, in 2023, the vision expanded: a permanent home for the winery was established in partnership with an investor from Jerusalem, marking a new era of growth.
Tasting Note
NOSE: OPENS WITH FRESH RED BERRIES AND A PLEASANT BOUQUET OF VANILLA AND FRESHLY GROUND COFFEE. PALATE: A BLEND OF RED FRUITS BRINGS HARMONIOUS BALANCE TO THE WINE. SOFT TANNINS GENTLY ACCOMPANY THE PALATE, ELEGANTLY PREPARING IT FOR THE DISHES THE WINE COMPLEMENTS BEAUTIFULLY. AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR OF BREATHING, THE WINE OPENS UP, AND THE RED FRUIT RE-EMERGES WITH A DELIGHTFUL BOUQUET, LEAVING A LASTING IMPRESSION.
