Barkan was founded in 1990, by Yair Lerner and Shmuel Boxer. They immediately set forth on a program of modernization and the planting of vineyards, which they saw as the key to the production of fine wine and expansion of the company. A BRIGHT, DEEP RED WINE WITH AROMAS OF CASSIS, BLACK CHERRY, AND PLUMS, COMPLEMENTED BY SWEET NOTES OF VANILLA AND CLOVE FROM BARREL AGING.
