Michael Dougan was born into a poor immigrant family in Victorian Glasgow. Starting with nothing, through sheer grit and determination, Michael built up a thriving business as a spirits salesman and publican in Castle Street, Glasgow. Four generations later, we carry on Michael’s dream, traditionally crafting Ben Èideann Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky in his honour. We hope he would be proud!
