Tasting Note
Deep purple in color. On the nose, anis, black cherries, cassis, candied strawberries and cold tobacco. Medium, perhaps medium to full-bodied, with a rich mouth-feel. On the palate, ripe black forest fruit, velvety, sweet licorice, sweet pipe tobacco, some earth on the mid-palate, medium-low acidity, silky tannins, with notes of chocolate covered coffee beans on the fairly long finish.
