Wine has been produced in the land of Israel since Biblical times. Winemaking itself is thought to have originated in the areas between the Black Sea, the Caspian Sea, and the Sea of Galilee. Noah was the first recorded“viticulturist” who after the flood “planted a vineyard.”It’s stories like these which sparked my interest and now passion for Israeli wines both past, present, and future. ~ Amar’e Stoudemire
