Tasting Note
Deep purple towards garnet in color. On the nose, fresh blackberries and raspberries, dried violets, rosemary, lavender as well as hints of cured meat and pepper. Medium-bodied, with a silky texture. Ripe yet tamed dark berry fruit and roasted herbs on the palate, followed by notes of juicy blackberries, pomegranate, black pepper, pencil shavings, cuban cigar, with medium-plus acidity and soft yet precise tannins that fill the mouth with hints of cocoa beans on the long and elegant finish.
