Yatir, a small and high-quality winery, was founded in 2000 as a joint venture between the grape-growers of the area and Carmel Winery. Dark purple in color, the nose is loaded with ripe black fruit, roasted herbs/toasted oak with a hint of freshly brewed coffee. Very full-bodied with multiple layers of extracted ripe black fruit with balancing acidity/mouth-draping tannins on the long finish.
